The second branding icon was The Navigator(Fig. 3). We had to create an object that represented an individual's life direction involving the four success elements of the program, Health, Wealth Wisdom and Relationships. These are  centered around a person's core values. The Navigator needed to have a solid, professional feel. The arms, arrows and words in The Navigator are imported Adobe Illustrator shapes, extruded and capped. The separated letters of the words had to be connected to form one object before they could be extruded. This allowed for a very fast 3D extrusion of words from Illustrator.

A variation of The Navigator concept came inspired from a Hoberman’s sphere that was applied to the idea of a person’s core values(Fig.4). After staring at a small Hoberman Sphere that I bought at a local science store, it quickly became apparent that it could be quickly built and animated using Instances and symmetry objects. Moving one arm collapsed and expanded the entire sphere correctly.
